Welcome

I got my first camera in 2003 and set about exploring my local neighbourhood in south west Sheffield. What I quickly discovered was that even the smallest overgrown spaces contain beauty and intrigue. Since that moment I have been immersed in a study of the urban wild and how to represent my perceptions.
Shapes appear for a while only to be reabsorbed and disappear from view. We are given to focus sharply on the things that are important to us; to perceive other things less clearly and to completely miss key aspects of what is around us.
